Small Business-COVID Hardship Fund

The Small Business COVID Hardship Fund will help qualified little and medium organizations:

Whose activities have been seriously affected by COVID-19 limitations that have been set up between 27 May 2021 and August 2021

Have experienced something like a 70% decrease in turnover because of the COVID-19 limitations 

Are ineligible for other key COVID-19 Victorian Government business award programs that have been declared since 27 May 2021.

 

Qualification standards

To be qualified, organizations must:

be situated inside Victoria

as an immediate outcome of COVID-19 limitations since 27 May 2021 have encountered a decrease in turnover of basically 70% for a base sequential fourteen day time frame equivalent to a benchmark period in 2019

have a yearly Victorian finance of up to $10 million out of 2019-20 on an ungrouped premise

have been enrolled for Goods and Services Tax (GST) on and from 28 July 2021

hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) and have held that ABN on and from 28 July 2021 

be enrolled with the mindful Federal or State controller.

 

Employing businesses should likewise:

be enrolled with WorkSafe Victoria

attest that the business is supporting its laborers to get to any paid leave privileges, or that if an individual can telecommute, to telecommute during the COVID-19 limitations, and supporting their easygoing specialists, where conceivable.

 

Grant amount

The program offers awards of $10,000 to qualified little and medium organizations, including utilising and non-utilising businesses. This program will permit more organizations who have already not got support, to get monetary support from the lockdowns.

 

How to apply

Applications are open from Thursday 12 August 2021 until program funds are exhausted or 11:59 pm on Friday 10 September 2021, whichever is earlier.
